My paintings reflect my response to a specific place or narrative.

I let my paintings evolve spontaneously by building up layers of Acrylic paint followed by Oil paint. This way of working allows me to make changes to the direction of the work more easily and keeps the painting process open ended.

I enjoy working with colours and textures.  They are the main features of my work.

I work from my studio at Papamoa Beach, Bay of Plenty.
